 Coach IshbokLead Coach |  Coach NicoleCoach Nicole is an asset to our staff. Nicole is also one of our lead coaches who is responsible for giving our young cubs a strong foundation in the game. Nicole is cheerful, motivational, warm and caring. She really does a great job of inspiring our young chess master to work hard and not give up. Nicole graduated from Trinity Collage in Hartford CT. with a degree in Anthropology. |  Coach OliviaCoach Olivia ............... Is not a chess player at all. Yet, she's just a warm hearted loving mom who loves children and cares about their success. Olivia is one of our lead coaches responsible for making sure your child is comfortable with his/her environment and is awarded the correct accolades and points in class. She has the major task of accurately recording points and games won (or loss) in our classes. We call her the TROPHY LADY! |

 Coach Andrew WeiCoach Andrew is a 2nd year college student majoring in engineering and digital design.... WoW, now that takes brain power! Coach Andrew is one of our Jr. lead coaches who spends his time in the classroom making sure your young master mind has all the tools he/she need to compete in class (and in life). Andrew likes games that involve critical and a challenge. Andrew relates to children like "milk to cereal". A Perfect Fit! |  Coach HudsonOne of our most influential Directors, coach Hudson is a full time Musician, Author and Recording Artist. Coach Hudson majored in Music Education at Bowie State University with a minor in recreation. His hobby's include skating, business studies and most of all Chess. Coach Hudson is a highly rated chess player who loves teaching children and adults the game. Coach Hudson's fun and unique teaching style makes him a hit with the kids and even our staff often get caught up in his tactful trainning |  Coach MaggieCC welcomes our newest coach. Coach Maggie is a college graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Education. What better job and what better staff member can we have than a teacher who loves teaching CHESS! Maggie is smart, kind, gentle and simply a child magnet. All of our students seem to favor her over coach Hudson's beguiling skills on the chess board. She is truly a one-of-a-kiind and we value having her on our team here at Church Chess! |
 Coach Brian MurphyOk, so we know you can't see that handsome young and charming face, but that's because "Attorney" Coach Brian is not interested in posing for the camera, but instead his concentration and interest lye in being a great chess teacher and an even better role model for your child. Coach Brian is a family man with young children and knows how to cater to their individual educational instincts. Brian is one of our "Head Coaches" and continues to uplift our young masterminds day-by-day! |  Coach EricCoach Eric was the 8th grade school chess champion at Champion Middle School. Coach Eric is currently enrolled at GPC majoring in Journalism and English. Coach Eric plans to finish his undergraduate degree at Kennesaw State University. Coach Eric works with our Jr. youth players to give them a through foundation and understanding of the game before they are promoted to our Super Youth division. Coach Eric loves children and the game and it shows in his instruction. |  Coach CarmenCoach Carmen is one of the newest coaches on our team (2014). Like some of our other staff, Carmen is in her Jr. year in college majoring in Music Production but if she hangs around us long enough we think we can change it to CHESS! ....... Huh??? You didn't know???? Yes kids do get scholarships for chess in college. G-o-o-g-l-e It! |
